International Outreach Ministries (IOM) is a highly flexible organization which is uniquely positioned to respond to the Twenty-First Century missions paradigm.
Our specialty? linking proven ministries with unmet needs, and doing it in creative ways. We don't have a "way we have always done it" mentality. We have focused people who are able to adapt, and able to persevere.
We try to find needs which are not being addressed by others, and we give people in the field freedom to find the solution in unique and fruitful ways. The result is often a piece of God's redemption in Twenty-First Century style through...International Outreach Ministries.

IOM serves churches and missionaries who are seeking to better serve the Lord of the Harvest. A flexible organization and attitude is required for the Twenty-First Century missions paradigm, which often combines the efforts of "sending" churches, oversight teams, indigenous partners, missionaries and missions agencies.
The IOM Missionary Support System involves our staff as facilitators, administrators, pastors, inspirators, networkers, goers and senders as the need of the hour requires. We try to do all this while carefully preserving the relationships between the churches and the missionaries.
Our goal is to assist those whom the Lord has called to get to the field, and there to serve them according to their unique context and needs. Our part is helping to insure that the needed resources, the tools, the workers, and the encouragement are there to do the job.

SHORT-TERM MISSIONS TRIPS WITH EXPERIENCED MISSIONARIES
Every year, IOM partners with missionaries around the world to conduct short-term mission trips to "target" areas of need. These trips usually range from 7-14 days and are available several times throughout the year. Without fail, adults and teenagers alike, return from these trips energized in their relationship with God, and feel their lives have changed dramatically.
Participants travel as a group to an international location where they work right alongside an experienced missionary team in a wide array of activities. Recent trips have included: assisting with building a church building for worshippers who were previously meeting outside in the rain; feeding and clothing orphaned children; participating in and leading worship or teaching at a local church service; praying for people one-to-one, seeing miraculous healings of the sick; providing medical care to those in need; and many fun-filled activities like touring local landmarks, or visiting a pristine beach, or hiking and much more!
These trips are great at any age. Short-term mission trips include a wide age-range of people who are able to work effectively with each other and the mission-trip leaders to fulfill the needs in that area. For up-to-date information on trip available in 1999 and beyond, contact IOM.
