August Prayer Emphasis for CCM

August will be a special month of prayer for Covenant Church of Mobile, and we invite friends around the world to join us in calling out to God for the following needs:



Covenant Church Call to Prayer – August 2009

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

WE ARE PRAYING FOR:

1. A spirit of humility and repentance so that we may clearly hear God’s voice and obey His will. (Psalm 25; Psalm 34; Isaiah 6; 1 Peter 5)

2. The fullness of the Holy Spirit in our church. (Luke 4; John 13-17; Acts 2 )

3. A great harvest of disciples for Jesus Christ and laborers in His harvest fields. (Matthew 28; Acts 1)

4. A spirit of unity in our church and in the larger body of Christ. (John 13-17; Psalm 133)

5. Turning the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers – revival among families and youth. (Malachi 4; Joel 2; Matthew 19; Ephesians 5-6)

6. Health, strength, and protection from the Lord. (Isaiah 53; Isaiah 40; Ephesians 6)

7. True prosperity from the Lord. (Proverbs 10:22; Philippians 4:19; Malachi 3:10)

8. Healing and revival in our nation – “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (2 Chronicles 7:14; Matthew 6:10; Psalm 33:12)

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3).

We are also asking everyone to have a prayer list of specific people you know that you are praying will meet the Lord. Pray for them, and pray for opportunities for you to share and demonstrate the Gospel with them.
